Diploma in Iridology and Nutrition
This first two years of the Herbal Medicine Programme include all the modules in Iridology, Vitalistic Nutrition and basic herbal medicine. On completion of the first two years and 250 hours of clinical training students can be awarded a Diploma in Natural Healing. This allows them to join the Irish Institure of Iridologists and to practice as iridologists who give health advice based on lifestyle and dietary change. As the course modules are identical to the first two years of the full Master Herbalist Training, students are also introduced to the study of herbal medicine thus allowing them on graduation to also recommend some health food store herbal products as part of the nutritional advice they might give their patients.
If students wish to continue for further study of the herbal medicine course they will become qualified to actually dispense herbal remedies in their own herbal practice and be awarded a
Licentiate in Herbal Medicine.
